Cheap and cute pantry organization

Our tea department was out of control until I found some super cute little cardboard bins at Target.  (For only $1 each!)

After I purchased as many as I could carry, I remembered a project I have really been wanting to try: chalkboard labels.  I painted contact paper with the chalkboard paint.  (Mine turned out bumpy because I didn't use spray paint and I applied it with a cheap brush and, of course, was too impatient to find one of my better brushes and start over.)  I cut out the cute little shape with a paper punch from the craft store.

Because they are made from contact paper, they should remove easily if I ever want to do that.
A bonus for me is that I had an extra label when I was done and it is the perfect size for a dollhouse chalkboard, which just so happens to look very much like the chalkboard I have in my real kitchen!

Yesterday, when I was at Michael's, I saw that they actually sell chalkboard contact paper, and it's only $5 a roll, which happens to be the same price as plain contact paper, plus you don't have to buy the paint and do all the work.
