I’m very excited today to announce my first giveaway! And it’s one that I’d want to win myself: a free photography class. (Don’t worry, you aren’t required to do a million things to enter.)
Craftsy has offered to give one of my readers a free course. They asked me to choose the subject, and it was a pretty tough, but I went with photography, due in part to the surprising popularity of a post I wrote with three tips for taking interior photographs.
If you haven’t heard of Craftsy, they are a very cool company that offers online courses (over 350 of them) on over a dozen crafty subjects. Once you sign up for a class, you can watch the videos whenever you’d like and your access never expires. The class being offered normally costs $59.99, but of course, for one of you, it’s FREE.
Click here to enter to win your free photography class from Craftsy. If you already have a Craftsy account, just log in and you are entered. If you don’t have one, sign up.
You don’t have to leave a comment, like me on Facebook, Pin it, Tweet about it or Instagram yourself doing a happy dance over it. (Though those would all be welcome–especially the happy dance.)
If you don’t already have a Craftsy account, it’s super easy, all they ask for is your email address. If you want them to email you about promotions and classes, they will; if you don’t, they won’t. They are straight-forward and honest. I’ve been signed up for a long time and have been very happy.
The giveaway will close next Monday, March 17th, at which point, Craftsy will use Random.org to choose a number, and the entrant that corresponds to that number wins! They will let me know who wins so we can all cheer for you and then nag you to show off what you’ve learned, and Craftsy will email the winner with the link to their free course.
While your waiting to hear that you’ve won, I highly recommend looking around their site. Not only do they offer over 350 different courses, they have a number of free mini classes, covering everything from homemade pizza to knitting to micro torch basics. I particularly enjoyed the Know Your Wool class. They also have a shop now, where they sell patterns and craft supplies.
Have you taken any Craftsy classes before? Planning on taking one while you wait?
