You can put the hot sauce directly into a mason jar, put the lid on and it will seal itself for storage in the cupboard.
To make pulled beef or chicken sandwiches, put roasts or chicken breasts in the crockpot and cover with sauce. Cook on low for 8+ hours.
When it’s done, for easy shredding, put the meat in a stand mixer and mix. (Don’t over-mix or it will get mushy.)
