I have decorating ADD lately.

I had every intention of working on the Hubs attic office as soon as we finished the powder room.

In fact, I was hoping to be more than halfway through the remodel by now.  But I haven’t even made a mood board or plan yet.  And now that it’s feeling like spring, I just want to be outside.

In the mean time, this is where the poor Hubs works:

I’ve been caulking around the front door, replacing the door mat, cleaning up the deck, considering painting the trim on the house black, planning a patio around the pool made from pallets, and a dozen other things.

I also suddenly feel an urgent need to replace all of our blah window sheers with bamboo blinds like the ones in my office.

But this is always what happens when I’m under a deadline.  Even if it’s something I love doing, I lose all ability to focus on the project and think of a million other things I could do.

But thankfully, mom helped me get back on track yesterday.  After rambling on for at least 30 minutes yesterday about all the things I had left to do and had no idea how I was going to do them, she came up with a bunch of great ideas.

4 days left to finish this little house.

So, I’m terribly sorry that I have nothing creative or house related to share today.  And that this post is all over the place and doesn’t really accomplish anything, just like me this week.  🙂

Same here, too many started projects. That attic place is amazing, hope to see some finished things there sooner or later.

I hear you with being all over the place–it’s hard to ignore projects that are everywhere!

Hi, I’m Christina.

Little Victorian is your place for inspiration, education, and encouragement for how to be your own interior designer and decorator, and how to carry out your big plans yourself too.

It starts with psychology, then artistry, and ends with power tools. None of those are scary, and you really can do it.
