We had a fantastic trip to Oregon to see The Hubs’ brother and his family and a wonderful 4th.  The fireworks above was our personal show put on by some friends and hubby, it was gorgeous.  We celebrated in a stunning spot overlooking the Willamette Valley.

After our fireworks show, we got to watch dozens of them down in the valley.

Valley

This is our second full day back home, but yesterday, I was too tired to accomplish anything but cleaning and laundry.  I think we averaged 5 hours of sleep a night since last Sunday.  I’ll be back later today with more highlights from the trip and then tomorrow, the blog will be back to normal with a DIY update of a very special (but not very pretty) clock.

It starts with psychology, then artistry, and ends with power tools. None of those are scary, and you really can do it.
