When we had wardrobes in the bedroom, my jewelry was hanging on the backs of the doors in the jewelry organizers I used to make.ย  But when we removed the wardrobes, I was ready for something new.

Candle holders as jewelry hangers

Now it’s all hanging on two wall-mounted candle holders that we’ve had laying around for a very, very long time.

Necklaces are hanging on the branches and earrings and rings, and the Hubs’ cufflinks are in the dishes that are meant to hold the candles.

Jewelry organizers

I’m still waffling on the arrangement, only because it makes the area feel a little cluttered to me.ย  So it may or may not be moved in the future.ย  For right now, we have other projects to get to.

What a great way to reuse the candleholders! I love that mirror, too!

Thanks Alana! The mirror was only $10 at a thrift store–I couldn’t pass it up. ๐Ÿ™‚

Those are in better use as jewellery holder than a candle holder in my opinion, well thought.
But I understand how it might look cluttered to you. I think it’s cool you tried these, maybe you’ll learn to love them or you can try something else. Home and organization is never done.

We used them as candle holders in one house, and only lit the candles one time. The shadows were really neat, but they were impractical for us. We loved the idea, but we just never used them.

      You’re right–the house is NEVER done. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love seeing items used in unexpected ways- This is absolutely brilliant.

Hi, I’m Christina.

Little Victorian is your place for inspiration, education, and encouragement for how to be your own interior designer and decorator, and how to carry out your big plans yourself too.

It starts with psychology, then artistry, and ends with power tools. None of those are scary, and you really can do it.
