As I’ve mentioned before, we are hoping for a whole new set up in the living room for media cabinet.  I would love a built-in look and a hidden TV.  Those get expensive, so we’ll be setting aside some money and deciding if we want to buy it or build it.  In the mean time, I decided to hang some art around the television so it’s not as jarring and to, hopefully, distract from the black hole.

Not sure I really like the layout or the art I chose yet.  I put them up just minutes ago, but I will probably rearrange it many times over.  But it does help take away some of the harshness of the black TV, and it draws the eye up the wall as well, so it’s definitely an improvement, even if it’s not perfect (or even close to it).

Have a great weekend!

Hi, I’m Christina.

Little Victorian is your place for inspiration, education, and encouragement for how to be your own interior designer and decorator, and how to carry out your big plans yourself too.

It starts with psychology, then artistry, and ends with power tools. None of those are scary, and you really can do it.
