Lately, many more projects are being started around here than are being finished.  It’s always something…  And it certainly does not have anything to do with me being overly ambitions.  Pfff.

A few things that are undone around the house?

And that’s just the bathroom.  The bathroom is currently a mess because the shelf we’re now using as a media center was holding all of our toiletries and towels.  Now the floor is holding them all.  I need to fix that this week.  But first, I need to paint the walls, install new baseboard and trim, then cut, stain and install the new wall shelves.

Oh, and finish patching, priming and painting the ceiling too.

On another note, in light of a few things I’ve learned about taking better pictures, the photos on our house tour page are making me twitch a little.  So I have a goal of taking all new photographs of the house and updating that page by the end of February.  See?  I’m not overly ambitions at all.

Does your bathroom have a wooden floor? That feels odd to me.
I wish I has as many things unfinished, I’m starting to feel really bored 🙂

That was me, Leena, I forgot to put my name

Aww, I’d gladly give you some of my projects! 🙂

It is wood. When we moved in, there was REALLY bad vinyl tiling. We wanted to expose the original hardwood, but they damaged it too badly with the vinyl, so we just put bamboo over the top of it.

And I’m glad you forgot, because it reminded me to add the option for you to edit comments!

Same here: more unfinished projects than done projects!

Hi, I’m Christina.

Little Victorian is your place for inspiration, education, and encouragement for how to be your own interior designer and decorator, and how to carry out your big plans yourself too.

It starts with psychology, then artistry, and ends with power tools. None of those are scary, and you really can do it.
